Broken LCD Screen on your Camera?

Have you ever broken the LCD screen in your camera?
I did. I made the mistake of putting extra batteries in my camera bag and apparently the camera received some pressure. Cameras are as durable as cotton candy and new born babies. Oh, I love cotton candy and I love newborn babies, but I do not like broken cameras.
The frustrating part is I was so careful with my camera. Ask my family. I was very protective. Ugh.
I have been surfing around the web and I found a replacement LCD for my camera.
According to what I have read there is a possibility of being shocked while changing an LCD screen.
Years ago at a family party some of the kids, and a kid like adult, decided to open up one of those disposable cameras. Someone got shocked and it became a party game to see if they could do it again. (Hey I warned you. Keep your fingers out of your camera.) If you end up breaking your LCD screen check Amazon.com before you toss your camera. And let me know how it goes. I am thinking I might just try to change mine.

  1. I've done the saaaammmmmeeee thing. Only mine was caused by a stupid Hannah Montana tin that held breath mints and it was all my fault. I left the camera out of the case, loose in the diaper bag. Oh, well. Live and learn, right?
