Desk to Redo - What would you do?



I brought this little desk home hanging out of my trunk the other day.
The finish is tired and dated.  
It needs new hardware and some love.

What color should it be?

The sky is the limit.

    Here's my thought. I would sand it down and see if the wood is worth anything. A natural finish or a walnut finish would be pretty. If not, I think the color would depend on the room you are putting it in and who will use it. Mostly, I'm seeing crystal hardware on a dark natural finish.

    I'm with Andrea on the wood idea. But if not, I vote for the black and white over the green. :)
