Learn to Knit - Knitted Dishcloth for Beginners
Four years ago a sign up sheet went around in Relief Society for a knitters circle. I joined. We did not stay together long because everyone's lives got in the way, but it inspired me to keep trying to knit. My grandmother sat down with me when I was a little girl and taught me to knit, but it did not stick until later.
I am a see it done and then try it learner. Before this I had struggled on my own with flat pictures in a book to figure stitches out. It was inspiring to see others do the things that I was trying to do.
I love the internet when it comes to learning a new skill. I guess you could say I was a bit of a turtle when it came to embracing D.S.L. Now I can't imagine life without it. Now I can find a "group" and have some support as I learn new things. I love being able to find a video or community about most anything that I want to learn.
If you are ready to learn to knit I recommend you start with a simple Grandma cotton yarn diagonal dishcloth pattern -click here.
Then head on over to Knitting Help for great how to videos.
I hope you have success with this easy dishcloth pattern!

Thanks so much for stopping by! I have never been much of a bread maker, but it is one of my current goals because I love it so much. In RS we learned how to do the 1 hour version and I have been successful a bit there. I am eager to check out your site for bread-making tips.
