One day my husband and I went out looking at houses. We looked at older homes first. You know the ones with charm and 50 year old pipes? (No offense to old pipes or people who have them.)
But, somehow we turned another direction and looked at new construction and an
Energy Star rating. Not to worry we were just looking, right? We told the kids we had gone out and looked, but told them not to worry about leaving their beloved High School. We surely would not be moving. We kept saying it and mostly believing it.
But, soon we realized it just
felt right. So we were off! Each week there was new progress to be celebrated.
And quick as we began, we were in our new home!
