Updating Light Fixtures with Spray Paint - Kitchen Peak waiting for Counter Tops

As an ongoing part of my parents remodel there are a couple of light fixtures in the
front hall and mud room that needed updating.
This first fixture was originally black with silver highlights.
Sorry no before picture on this one.
But, a coat of Rust-Oleum Oil Rubbed Bronze brings it up to date.

Though it is simple my Mom has always liked this fixture.  But, the wiring looked questionable and would have been a reason to not reuse it.  She bought a comparable bulb socket and wiring and my Dad hit it with a coat of oil rubbed bronze.

Voila.
Updated color.

Still waiting for counter tops.

  1. Isn't paint wonderful? It can so cheaply change something and update it. Plus the old fixtures are probably made so much better.
