Quick Cake


This was a fun quick cake to do.
Left over icing and two layers made from leftover cake batter.
I feel safe with fondant, so it's time to get comfy with butter cream.

  2. I really like Edna's recipe.
    I leave the meringue powder out much of the time. If I want to use a viva paper towel to smooth it I put the meringue powder in.

    I made the Whimsical Bakehouse recipe and it was not my favorite. It was magic to work with, but I prefer sweeter less greasy frosting.
