A quiet evening

It's late.  Big kids are home now.  Girls rustling around going to bed.  Date over, work day is done.  Not so little boys sleeping in their beds.  One last straggler sleeping here on the sofa beside me.  I feel so lucky.  I am so glad to have these days and hours.
So many firsts, so many lasts.  Times are changing for me and for our family. 
But, for now I'll just sit here and enjoy the moment.

    How blessed! I love those moments. It's especially touching to me right now since it's my kids' weekend to be at their dad's and I'm all alone.
